The Area

Chez Baiges is located in the Poitou Charente region. Its mild climate - 2,250 hours of sunshine per year - makes it desirable to visit anytime from early spring to late autumn. With vast forests of oak and chestnut, fields of sunflowers and vineyards, rivers bordered by mediaeval towns and villages and a relaxed pace of life there is no doubt that this is the real France. The area is unspoiled by mass tourism and is populated by the friendliest of people. We live on site to give you a warm welcome and ensure your stay is a memorable one.
